Khallarnie,
Wow! How time has passed by so fast these last couple of years since you were born. I owe you the biggest apology in the world for not keeping up to date with your baby blog! We have been so busy on the farm, and with taking care of my grandparents, and everyday life that I have just been awful at writing for you.
Right now I am sat at my desk in the room your mom calls “The Landing,” or I call my den, and you are downstairs with your mom as she looks for a nail and is working on planting her trees to get them started. I don’t know what she needs a nail for, but Dylan finally realized that you were not where he could see you, although he was asked to watch you. You have followed your mom into her craft room looking for a nail!
It’s so exciting to hear you talking to your mom! You keep saying, “mommy, nail!”
As a person, you have really developed a lot of personality in the last two years. You have a huge, happy smile! You have learned to ask for things you want too. And you get frustrated when we don’t understand you, but you are in that stage where your pronunciation is not the best, and some of the words are still quite hard to understand. I think though that in your head you know what you mean, and you are using the right words, and when they don’t sound right to us, you get upset because you have done your best to express yourself, but we just don’t understand. In your head, things are processing clearly and correctly! You are a very bright, very intelligent little girl! You have a very promising future with a mind like yours. I really look forward to seeing you develop and grow!
In the days, when Kirynie is at school, you and I get to hang out together and play and learn. I want you to know how much I love that I get to do this! You are an awesome cheeky little girl, and a lot of fun to be with!
I love you Khallarnie Florence Kelsey Bacon, which is one of the reasons you have my name in yours!
Love,
Daddy!
